Php5 sessions in /var/lib/php5

Ubuntu handles php5 sessions with a cronjob defined in /etc/cron.d/php5, running every 30 minutes

Command ( root):
[ -x /usr/lib/php5/maxlifetime ] && [ -d /var/lib/php5 ] && find /var/lib/php5/ -depth -mindepth 1 -maxdepth 1 -type f -cmin +$(/usr/lib/php5/maxlifetime) ! -execdir fuser -s {} 2>/dev/null \; -delete

Delete all sessions command line (for large number of sessions rm goes on timeout)

cd /var/lib/php5
sudo find . -name “sess_*” -print -delete
